Are "Bonanno" sandals really comfortable?
- Made of 100% leather bottoms, a support
shank between the soles and
soft, supple kid-skin tops, they are truly amazing sandals. Like a
baseball glove or your favorite pair of jeans, the more you wear
them the better they get. That's why our customers always say: "BONANNO's
or barefoot!"
How long does it take to have
a custom pair made?
- Currently our sandals are
taking 4 to 6 weeks in production and then we ship out
- If you order during our two
annual sales, expect up to 15 weeks
These dates can
vary, give or take a week, but please remember, all of our sandals
are hand-crafted, one pair at a time, not plucked from a pile of
mass produced flip flops from parts unknown.
Are the sandals ever on sale?
- SPRING
Sale: 5 day sale. In the Spring.
We will post the dates on the web and via newsletters.

What is the difference between the Bonanno
sandals and the others that look like them?
- The 'Bonanno" sandals are 100% natural leather
with supple kid skin tops.
- The "Bonanno" sandals are the originals,
designed for Jacqueline Kennedy back in the 1960s.
- The "Bonanno" sandals are a true B width.
- "Bonanno" sandals can be
customized for that hard to fit foot. Sizes 5 to 14 half sizes
included.
- With "Bonanno" sandals you
can order just about every color under the sun.
- Stephen Bonanno Sandals has excellent
customer service
Why
settle for an imitation when you can get the original!
What if I have a narrow or wide foot, can I wear these sandals?
- Custom sizing is available
through our Signature Stores only: Our sandals can be custom made to
help fit your foot. However,
it is important to note, they
are not a narrow or wide sandal.
We can go up or down one
full size to help accommodate your needs. We are not a
custom fitted sandal, we custom size to help suit your needs.
(example: for a narrow foot you can order: 7 bottoms with a 6 or 6
1/2 top, for a wide foot,
7 bottoms with an 7 1/2 or 8 top).
How can I clean the sandals if they get dirty?
- If it's leather: Use a quality leather cleaner and follow
instructions on that product
- If it's cloth or ribbon: Warm water, a small amount of Wool-lite
and with a soft brush, clean gently.
If there is a mix up with my order who do I
contact?
Please contact the store you
purchased them from, they will be happy to assist you
Do you stand behind your product?
- Absolutely. If you have a problem with your sandals due to
a manufacturer's defect, send them directly to the Stuart factory with
a copy of your receipt, or if that is not available the name of the
location where your sandals were purchased and approx. date of
purchase along with a detailed description of the problem, include

tightened, or if I wear out my soles or heels, can I get them repaired?

you are ready for a resole, they will tighten the sandals back to
the original size. If you are a custom size it is most important to
let them know before the repair or you will get a straight size.
